Catherine has expressed her delight at the council's decision to recognise Hornsey Town Hall as an 'asset of community value'.
Speaking after the decision was made, Catherine said “The much-loved Hornsey Town Hall and Square is clearly an asset of community value and I’m delighted that Haringey Council has recognised this in their decision. There is real local enthusiasm for a future for the site that safeguards the vibrant arts scene that’s developed here with the Crouch End Festival and Hornsey Town Hall Arts Centre. I fully support this and want to see the local community at the heart of any future plans”
Right from the outset, Catherine fully supported the community-led nomination from Crouch End Community Arts Festival to have the site designated. For full details of the decision, visit http://www.haringey.gov.uk/news/communityvalue
