I agree that much more needs to be done to tackle tax avoidance and to close tax loopholes that are being exploited by some finance managers.
At a time when households up and down the country are being affected by the cost of living crisis it is disgraceful that some highly-paid individuals are able to exploit loopholes within the system, often allowing them to pay less tax than teachers or nurses. We need to ensure our domestic tax system ensure that corporations, businesses and individuals pay their fair share of tax.

I can assure you that I will continue to press the Government on these extremely important issues and I know from the large number of letters and e-mails I have received that many constituents share my concern about global and domestic tax avoidance.
