What a victory for democracy. The highest court in the land has unanimously ruled that Boris Johnson acted illegally in shutting down Parliament and misleading the Queen to try and force through his reckless Brexit plans. I’m very proud to have been one of the petitioners in the court action that helped make this possible.

We are facing the gravest constitutional crisis in decades. The Prime Minister should resign and Parliament must sit again without delay so that we can hold this shameful, law-breaking Government to account.
