Mayor of London Sadiq Khan took care of Londoners by freezing TfL fares for four years. But now, the Tories have imposed austerity on Londoners, forcing TfL to increase fares above inflation next January.

They’re also putting a temporary stop on free travel for holders of the Older Persons Freedom Pass at peak times, and want to take away free travel for Under 18s.

The changes will hit hardworking and struggling people in London hard. Households are already suffering because of the Covid19 pandemic. Parents shouldn’t be pushed further into poverty to pay for their kids to get to school.
