Once again the MP for Hornsey & Wood Green, Lynne Featherstone, voted with her Tory colleagues to keep the Bedroom Tax, apolicy that deliberately targets the most vulnerable: two thirds of effected households include a person with a disability in properties adapted for their needs.

This cruel tax is designed to destroy communities. It is not even predicted to save any money. It just causes misery and debt. Over 700 vulnerable households in Hornsey & Wood Green found out yesterday that their lives wouldn’t become any easier, because their MP voted to punish them for staying in their homes and in their communities, when no suitable alternative accommodation is available.

Labour is committed to repealing the Bedroom Tax and if I am elected next year I will vote to get rid of this cruel Tax. To show your support, sing the petition here.
