“The PM’s offer was neither new nor bold. It’s too little too late, a rehash of the same deal that has been voted down three times already from a failed Prime Minister with no authority left.

For any deal to have a chance of making it through Parliament, it has to include a confirmatory vote with the option to remain.

Hornsey & Wood Green has always been strongly remain but the latest YouGov polling reveals seven out of ten Londoners would rather stay in the EU than leave with Theresa May’s Brexit deal or a catastrophic no deal.

As a proud remainer who voted against triggering Article 50, voted to retain our Single Market and Customs Union membership and was one of the first MPs to come out in support of a public vote on the final deal, I am determined to ensure all of you get the final say on Brexit in a public vote.

Three years on from the referendum it is right that everyone in the UK – not just 650 MPs – decides whether the terms and conditions for leaving Europe are right for our country or whether to remain in the EU instead.”
