The election of Boris Johnson’s Conservative Government is a huge blow for action on climate chaos.  Labour’s Green Deal would have fundamentally transformed our society, with the most ambitious climate targets of any country in the world and massive investment in green jobs and green energy.   Instead the Conservatives want to push the can down the road.

In Parliament, I will hold this Government to account and together with Caroline Lucas we’ve ensured our goal to make this the Climate Parliament is the first Early Day Motion of this new Parliament.
