Over the weekend I joined Council Leader Cllr Peray Ahmet and local Labour Party members to campaign against the cruel Tory cut to Universal Credit which takes £1,000 a year from 12,790 struggling families in Hornsey & Wood Green.

I spoke to the Ham & High about what it will mean for families locally and for millions across the country.

With food and energy prices soaring, tax rises on low income workers and this Universal Credit cut families face a devastating cost of living crisis this winter.
