Haringey Council have published their activity booklet for the summer holidays and you can view it here.
As Chair of the All-Party Swimming Group and a proud campaigner on the benefits of swimming, I’m delighted that the £1 kids swim is back for another year.
If your child/children are eligible for Free School Meals, there are also a range of fun & FREE activities, courses & events for them to take part in throughout the summer break as part of Haringey Council’s Holiday Activities & Food programme.
The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, has also provided information on the activities his Violence Reduction Unit (VRU) is arranging, working with the Local Village Network, to provide young Londoners with positive activities to allow them to enjoy themselves this summer, divert them away from violence and stay safe.
More information can be found at: https://www.lvn.org.uk/.
More information on the range of programmes offered by the VRU can be found at: https://www.london.gov.uk/content/londons-violence-reduction-unit.
The Mayor’s Let’s Do London campaign, also encourages Londoners of all ages to make the most of the capital’s cultural gems and unique experiences this summer, many of which are free or low cost. The vast array of activities can be found at:
I hope you have a wonderful summer!
