For years now I’ve been raising concerns about the mismanagement of Royal Mail and the impact on postal services locally.

I welcomed Ofcom’s decision to investigate how the Universal Service Obligations are being met but am concerned that the current review doesn’t focus on what consumers need – or consider the views of frontline postal workers.
