Thank you to the people of Hornsey & Wood Green for putting your faith in me for a third time. Thank you to all the volunteers who came out in the rain and the cold to help campaign for a fairer society.

I am devastated by the national result and what it means for our country and for all those who desperately need a Labour Government.

Labour must reflect and we must rebuild. You have put your faith in me and Labour to fight Johnson and his hard-right vision of Britain. I will do just that and push to tackle inequality and work for the fairer society we are so desperate to see.
