The Covid-19 pandemic has had a devastating impact on many disabled people in our community. Inclusion London produced a powerful report following the first lockdown which revealed that too many disabled people felt abandoned, isolated and unable to access vital support. Many parents of disabled children have also told me they’ve struggled with school closures, obtaining or updating EHCPs or accessing vital therapies.
I want to hear how the Covid-19 pandemic has affected you so I can raise these issues in Parliament and fight for better support for disabled people and their families.
I have arranged a special zoom call for constituents on Friday 22 January from 12-1pm, chaired by Haringey Mayor Cllr Adam Jogee.
Online registration has now closed, but if you would like to join the call please email me and the Zoom link will be sent to you.
If you can’t take part, but have any concerns you think I might be able to help with please do get in touch.
