After 13 years of Tory government, our public services are falling apart and nothing embodies this more than children seeing their schools closed, or taught in classrooms held up with props to stop the ceiling falling in.

Rishi Sunak as Chancellor almost halved the school’s rebuilding budget.  Now, as Prime Minister children up and down the country are paying the price.

One school in Hornsey & Wood Green has been affected by the RAAC scandal, and you can read my letter to the Minister following a phone call below.  Many more schools have been affected by crumbling buildings, Dickensian sports facilities, and dangerous asbestos – and I’ve been raising concerns for years but the Government has repeatedly failed to act.

Ministers are leaving children in chaos and running from responsibility.  The Conservatives have failed our children.
