Book your tickets now for my next in conversation on “Is our criminal justice system in crisis?” on Sunday 26 February at 3pm at the Labour Party office in Crouch End.

Reserve your ticket here.

I’m delighted to be joined by the former Victim’s Commissioner Dame Vera Baird DBE KC, Labour’s Shadow Spokesperson for Home Affairs in the House of Lords Lord Ponsonby of Shulbrede, John Plummer, Co-ordinator of the London Prisons Mission and Charley Allan, the Justice Unions Parliamentary Group Organiser in Hornsey & Wood Green on Sunday 26 February at 3pm.

They’ll be speaking on the theme “Is our criminal justice system in crisis?” and discussing issues including prison reform. Last summer, I visited Bronzefield because I wanted to learn more about how the state treats women in prison, especially mothers with babies. I wrote this about my time there and look forward to continuing this discussion, and hearing your wider thoughts on the current state of our criminal justice system, to help inform my work in Parliament on this vital issue.
