Since Wood Green’s WH Smith store closed down in March 2023, taking our busy Post Office with it, I’ve been campaigning hard to bring back a Post Office to Wood Green.

Over 1,000 of you signed the petition I presented in Parliament setting out the impact its loss was having on residents, businesses and our town centre.  We’ve really missed it, and I couldn’t be more delighted that, at a time when Post Offices have been closing up and down the country, this week I finally cut the ribbon to officially open our brand new store.

Based at Unit 38 in the Mall and open seven days a week with three Post Office counters, I am delighted that Wood Green residents and businesses will again be able to access vital Post Office services without having to travel.
